In the flatlands of Cincinnati, Ohio, I lucked into finding climbing at a young age. Competitions dominated my early climbing experience and took me around the U.S. and abroad. I am still a gym rat at heart, although I am admittedly involved in a series of ongoing affairs with real rocks as well.
I take photos.
Climbing lead me to Colorado, and eventually, outside. Over the course of many days spent bouldering in the alpine areas of the state, I developed a love of nature and an interest in capturing its beauty in photos. In late 2016, I left a full-time position in the climbing industry to pursue photography more seriously. My photos can be found at angiepayne.com
